Code of Conduct
- Inform your coach if you are going to be away or late.
- Inform your coach of any injuries or illnesses you may have before lessons begin.
- Always wear suitable attire for lessons.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that avoids bringing the game into disrepute.
- Respect coaches and accept their decisions.
- Respect opponents and always shake hands at the end of a match.
- Use his/her best efforts in competitive matches.
- Refrain from ball and racket abuse.
- Physical violence, verbal language, gestures, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated or permitted and will result in immediate suspension from the tennis program.
- Alcohol, illegal drugs, or tobacco will not be tolerated or permitted and will result in immediate suspension from the tennis program.
- Never use unfair bully tactics to gain an advantage on or off the court or to isolate another player.
- Never pass gossip or false accusations about another player or adult.
- Never keep secrets about anyone who has caused you harm.
- Respect the rights, dignity, and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, or religious beliefs.
- Win with grace and lose with dignity.
- Keep the courts clean; trash and other personal belongings should not be left on the court.
- Players, spectators, and guests are expected to set a superior example of sportsmanship and respect for each other on the premises.
- Parents are encouraged to support their child's involvement and help them enjoy playing tennis.
- Spectators are not allowed on the courts.
- Individuals in violation of the code of conduct may be asked to leave.
- Participants and parents are encouraged to be open at all times and share any concerns or complaints they may have with LUV Tennis, coaches, or staff.
